Poncho Pigs

It’s not a party when pigs in a blanket are not served on the table. However, for today’s recipe, we are taking it up the notch— presenting you the JBros version, Poncho Pigs. Since summer is up, this dish would surely complete your pool party occasion or any event coming up. It’s hassle-free and a very classic but delicious appetizer so make sure to try it out now.


  • Vegetable oil

  • Flour tortillas; taco size

  • Colby Jack cheese; or cheese of choice

  • Pre-cooked breakfast chorizo links

  • Pico de Gallo; or salsa


  1. Wrap Colby jack cheese and chorizo links in the tortillas. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

  2. Heat and grease pan for frying and place the wrapped meat. Start with seam side down to seal and fry until golden brown. Flip if necessary.

  3. Serve topped with Pico de Gallo and other preferred toppings (e.g sour cream, guacamole, cheese, or salsa)

  4. Serve while it’s still hot. Enjoy!
