Mississippi Roast

Today we are making a viewer request for roast. There are so many ways you can use roast that you could eat it all week. Today we are making delicious roast sandwiches.

Mississippi Roast

Ingredients:

2- 2lb boneless chuck roast

1 stick butter

1 pkg, dry Ranch Dressing Mix

1 pkg. Au Jus gravy mix

5 pcs. Pepperoncini Peppers

Black Pepper- to taste

Gravy:

1/2 cup roast drippings

1/2 cup water

1 tbsp. Au Jus gravy mix

Directions:

1. Place roast in slow cooker, sprinkle Au Jus gravy mix and dry ranch dressing mix on top of

roast.

2. Place the stick of butter in the middle on top of seasonings. Add Pepperoncini peppers around

stick of butter. Add pepper to taste.

3. Cook on low about 8 hours until meat is breaking apart, or on high about 4-5 hours until meat

is breaking apart.

4. Gravy Directions:

In a pot on medium heat add roast drippings, water and Au Jus mix.

Let simmer 5-6 minutes.
