Meatloaf Grilled Cheese

Nothing beats grilled cheese and its flavor enhances depending on what we combine it with. Combining meatloaf with grilled cheese takes it to a higher level. Moreover, even if meatloaf grilled cheese can stand alone as a meal, it would be best if partnered with side dishes such as fries, onion rings, potato chips, or a side salad. Adding sauces can also enrich its flavor; as always it is up to you what to pair it with because it would always be better when you make it yourself.

Ingredients:

  • Leftover meatloaf

  • Butter

  • 2 slices Hawaiian Rolls

  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded

  • 2 slices Sourdough Bread

  • Provolone slices

  • Fried Egg

Directions:

  1. Melt a small amount of butter in a pan to fry the meatloaf. Take it off the pan and set aside once both sides turn brown.

  2. Melt the sharp cheddar cheese in the fan and place the Hawaiian rolls on the top for the cheese to stick. Do the same with sourdough bread.

  3. Add a slice of provolone on top of the melted cheese for both loaves of bread. Then, place the meatloaf. Add fried egg in the Hawaiian rolls or on both Hawaiian rolls and sourdough if preferred. Layer with another provolone slice and close it with another loaf.

  4. Melt butter in a pan and toast the bread. Flip until both sides are golden brown in color.

  5. Serve and Enjoy!
