Today, in honor of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow we are going to show you how we make Corned Beef & Cabbage in the slow cooker. This is a traditional meal in the J Bros Family as they are half Irish.

Slow Cooker Corned Beef & Cabbage
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Total Cook Time: 5-10 hours
Makes 6 servings.
Ingredients:
1 yellow onion, large dice
2 cups baby carrots
4-5 potatoes, large dice
1 2/3 lb corned beef brisket
Salt
Black Pepper
Pickling Spice, comes with corned beef
1/2 green cabbage, quartered
3 bay leaves
Directions:
1. Add onion, carrots, and potatoes to slow cooker. Put corned beef on top of veggies and
season with salt, pepper, pickling spice and bay leaves. Fill slow cooker with water until it has
almost covered the meat.
2. Cook on high for 4-4 1/2 hours, or low 8-9 hours; until meat is tender. Remove meat and add
cabbage to slow cooker and cook on high for 45 minutes.
