Back then, I thought Club Sandwich is called Club sandwich only because they are mostly served in country clubs or clubhouses as a snack or meal. Even though it originated in those places, there is still something interesting to its name. Just like the BLT, Club sandwich is an acronym for "Chicken and Lettuce under Bacon". These sandwiches are also served in schools, diners, restaurants, resorts, and different versions were already made. But who can blame them? This meal is suitable for all ages and best for any occasion. Try our delicious version of the Club sandwich and your tummy will thank you for it.
1 pack Bacon
Pepper Jack Cheese, sliced
1 Loaf of French bread
Prepare the cooked sliced ham and turkey. In a pan, fry the bacon strips.
Cut the French bread in half. Remove the edges to narrow them down to sandwich size. In another skillet, toast the bread.
Before building the sandwich, spread some mayonnaise on the base of the bread.
Add a layer of turkey slice. Put tomatoes next followed by the cheese. Include the ham slices and three bacon strips. Do not forget to add the lettuce before finishing it with another bread.
Serve while fresh. Enjoy!
